1972 Wagoneer
Matthew's been working hard the last couple of weeks.  He replaced all the fluids, filters, belts and hoses, and rebuilt the carburetor.  He also converted the choke back to automatic. He repacked the wheel bearings and replaced the rear main bearing seal.  We've taken it on a couple of short rides around the area - including some on the dirt roads in the forest behind us.  Matt gets to drive on those.

I've done a decent duct tape repair on the torn seats in front (they weren't bad at all, but needed a little help.  It needs a good wash and wax next.  It's sure been fun driving the old girl again.  Boy, does she eat up rough roads, and Matt has that engine running sweet and smooth.  Sort of a funny thing - it's been shooting kibble chunks out of the tailpipe.  A squirrel must have hidden them in there while it was parked.
